    What is 5.6 L mean?

  2. It means, that the car uses 5.6 liters of petrol to cover 100 kilometers, at a constant speed of 90 kilometers per hour.

In other words, it does 42 miles per gallon (US), or about 50 miles per gallon (UK).

    5.6 liters is about 1.5 gallons US-liquid.
5.6 liters is about 1.2 gallons UK.
100 kilometers is about 62 miles.
90 kilometers per hour is about 55 miles per hour.

    7.3L is consumption over 100 kilometers at a speed of 120 km/h.

9.4L is consumption over 100 kilometers of city driving.

  3. I had never tryed to let it real happend that it will use 5.6 L to cover 100 km of a constant speed of 90. Never.

In other words, my BMW runs aprox 13 km/ L petrol.

  4. That's 7.7L/100Km, or something like that. That's about what I'm getting on average as well. :)
