19. Engine swap

After a lot of thinkinkg, we finally decided how we're going to swap the engine from our red E36 to our 'new' green one. The idea is to drop the engine (with half of the suspention still attached), roll back the chasis, roll on the new chasis and bolt it on back, basicaly, without moving the engine. Here are a few pictures. I'll write a little DIY when we finish... We also started striping the interior of the green Beemeer.

18. New body!

Oh finally!

Here are pictures of our new E36. Like I wrote, the red one was just too banged-up to be transformed into a drift machine.

16. U turn!

Just a little update on our project:

We've managed to destroy our welded differential... So basically, our Beemer is now just a landscape decoration. :-P Heh... So, we started thinking, and finally decided that this car just isn't good enough for a drift machine. But, don't worry! We already found a replacement. :-) It' s a (you know it!) - another Beemer E36 4door 325 :-) Unfortunatley, we have to wait 10 days for the delivery. Stay tuned!
